South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) and ITC WoW hosted Amrit Mahotsav at Vasant Kunj to recognise the Resident Welfare associations (RWAs) and Non-Government organisations (NGOs) for doing good work in waste management.
This event was presided by DC of SDMC Shri Bhupesh Chaudhary and Shri Inderjeet Sehrawat Councillor Mahipalpur, In this event various RWAs and NGOs were facilitated for working towards source segregation and In-situ composting of wet waste.
Eswachh has been working in the space of tracking of source segregation from each household in Sec22 Dwarka. The Mobile based ERP system is called Contactless Waste Collection Management System (WCMS) which tracks all segregation status of each household giving the waste. With Implementation of this technology one is able to achieve 95% plus segregation at source, this solves lot of issues like improving the lifestyle of rag-pickers and composting of the wet waste.
Eswachh was rewarded and appreciated by Shri Bhupesh Chaudhary for innovating the technology solution which brings the change in the behaviour of the residents.
Mr. Gaurav Wahi CEO of Eswachh received the award from the dignitaries of the event and promised that this technology will be implemented in multiple locations in SDMC area.
